The corner was taken by Jairón Palomera in the 12th minute. The corner led 赤道SúperBarça's Jairón Palomera to fire away a dangerous shot which Urtsua Oterino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Hernan Ceron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Orlando Parada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urtsua Oterino was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Jacinto Macon charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Macon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Yaupi got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Macon. Zabal Carrizo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Villafuerte Clemente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Zabal Carrizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, 赤道SúperBarça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Herquinigo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Yaupi getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rene Galguera hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

54 minutes into the match, Zabal Carrizo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of 赤道SúperBarça's Villafuerte Clemente. Villafuerte Clemente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 59 minutes of play, Yaupi's Zabal Carrizo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Villafuerte Clemente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernan Ceron struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Urtsua Oterino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 赤道SúperBarça. Ayoví Caldevilla charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ayoví Caldevilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Yaupi got a freekick which was hit by Ayoví Caldevilla. Urtsua Oterino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Ceron, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 81st minute of the match 赤道SúperBarça got a corner. Yaupi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairón Palomera ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jairón Palomera made a great header on 赤道SúperBarça's corner, it was just that Yaupi's Urtsua Oterino managed to reach the ball for a save. Zabal Carrizo took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Villafuerte Clemente. Villafuerte Clemente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 赤道SúperBarça's Villafuerte Clemente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Laincera in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Orlando Parada managed to get in a good position for a shot. 赤道SúperBarça's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Parada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urtsua Oterino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Yaupi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hernan Ceron fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Yaupi support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
