The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ximenes Babia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UD Molinopamba's Ximenes Babia got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Teodoro Cugurulls dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orlando Marimon, 1-0. Hernando Sampayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Eguiara in the 12th minute of play. If Vistruario Modet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Marimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Cugurulls, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Peter Cerda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orlando Marimon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pancho Sopena in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Teodoro Cugurulls managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Perchas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Cugurulls was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Marimon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Cugurulls received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mario Siruendo was slow to take the kick. During this time UD Molinopamba's players had a chance to rest. Mario Siruendo made a great header on UD Molinopamba's corner, it was just that Los Perchas FC's Hernando Sampayo managed to reach the ball for a save. UD Molinopamba's Isaac Eguiara got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaac Eguiara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hernando Sampayo made a huge save. After having played for 64 minutes, Vistruario Modet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Molinopamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vistruario Modet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute Vistruario Modet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernando Sampayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Cerda kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Perchas FC's zone, Isaac Eguiara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernando Sampayo came out of the goal and Isaac Eguiara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Los Perchas FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Peter Cerda hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, UD Molinopamba's Ximenes Babia got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Pancho Sopena got free in front of the goal in the 76th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Orlando Marimon was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Los Perchas FC's goalkeeper Hernando Sampayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Eguiara. After 79 minutes, Peter Cerda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Perchas FC and the UD Molinopamba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Los Perchas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Dannes Gondin scored to the left of an out of position Hernando Sampayo, making the score, 1-1. 90 minutes into the game, Isaac Eguiara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hernando Sampayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Los Perchas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UD Molinopamba's performance. The match ended with a win for UD Molinopamba.
