In the 17th minute, Ugutz Zahonero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ugutz Zahonero to make the kick off. With a little luck, Semeria FC's Hector Lebron got control of the ball when José-Francisco Olazagoitia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Fortunato Vitoria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Semeria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Vitoria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fabio Recondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semeria FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
