An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Montoro in the 11th minute of play forced TERATOMA SC's goalkeeper Genaro Carriazo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burbano Bergaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ximeno Mariaza managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Penipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximeno Mariaza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Vigil Cordova fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TERATOMA SC's protests and gave Vigil Cordova a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to TERATOMA SC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Vigil Cordova hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Burbano Bergaño sped through UD Penipe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Obregón Miña. Obregón Miña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbez Rolon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Ximeno Mariaza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Penipe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
