The crowd rose to their feet as Xzaver Temes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovanni Lecin. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Pancho Cainzos made a precise shot to the right of Vellito Alberete. UD Lucarque's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A hard shot 16 in the game by Zavier Granell from a close distance when the talented Geovanni Lecin managed to make a qualified save. Bajana SC's players were relieved. Zavier Granell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes, Paulo Baragaño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bajana SC and the UD Lucarque players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bajana SC's Paulo Baragaño got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Pancho Cainzos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovanni Lecin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xzaver Temes in the 38th minute of play. Zavier Granell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Lecin having to interfere. Xzaver Temess short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Geovanni Lecin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Simon Basagoitia kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Cainzos in the 48th minute of play forced UD Lucarque's goalkeeper Vellito Alberete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 56th minute Zavier Granell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Lecin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When UD Lucarque's Xzaver Temes in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 86 played minutes UD Lucarque got a freekick which was hit by Rodríguez Ibarzabal. 87 minutes into the match, Santo Trincado sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Vellito Alberete threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Santo Trincado this time. Xzaver Temes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Geovanni Lecin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Simon Basagoitia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Juan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vellito Alberete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The UD Lucarque fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bajana SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
