The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cortez Lijarco kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute Azconzábal Ocampo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavaier Palomar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, UD Uchupucun's Xzavaier Palomar got control of the ball when Pedro Cañaveral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Gordejuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xzavaier Palomar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Azconzábal Ocampo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Pedro Cañaveral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Xzavaier Palomar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azconzábal Ocampo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xzavaier Palomar having to interfere. UD Uchupucun's Xzavaier Palomar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save UD Uchupucun from getting a goal against them. Xzavaier Palomar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rene Galaz. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Manzaloma's Azconzábal Ocampo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xzavaier Palomar. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. In the 43rd match minute, CD Manzaloma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christobal Urtubia to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Azconzábal Ocampo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Cañaveral struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Xzavaier Palomar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Manzaloma. Camilo Heneses made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Gordejuela in the 56th minute. Jesus Gordejuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Camilo Heneses made a huge save. In the 63rd match minute, CD Manzaloma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xerardo Candia to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th match minute, CD Manzaloma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urti Pons to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Jesus Gordejuela fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Azconzábal Ocampo struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Azconzábal Ocampo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Manzaloma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Gordejuela got free with Camilo Heneses in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesus Gordejuela made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 90thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Camilo Heneses would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Urti Pons was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Urti Pons kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Jesus Gordejuela came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the UD Uchupucun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Gordejuela couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, UD Uchupucun's Almandoz Cillero got a free kick in the 98th minute. In the 99th minute, Fernández Egaña sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and UD Uchupucun's Xzavaier Palomar didn't even have to move. For all the effort they put into the match, the UD Uchupucun players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CD Manzaloma.
