If Leoverliz Cervantez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Hoyuelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Sombredo in the 18th minute of the match. Pedro Riaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Guamán Colina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guamán Colina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Riaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leoverliz Cervantez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Riaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guamán Colina having to interfere. Leoverliz Cervantez took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guamán Colina. Guamán Colina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gigantones's Nestor Hoyuelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Sombredo in the 31st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as John Sombredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nestor Hoyuelos. That made the score 1-1 in the 35 minute of play. Leoverliz Cervantez struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Guamán Colina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gigantones. Pedro Riaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Riaza was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zayveon Caseda in the 52nd minute of play forced Gigantones's goalkeeper Nestor Hoyuelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guamán Colina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Riaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Riaza struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Guamán Colina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gigantones. The supporters of Briones FC booed when Gigantones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Pison didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute John Sombredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Hoyuelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leoverliz Cervantez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Sombredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 73 in the game by Leoverliz Cervantez from a close distance when the talented Guamán Colina managed to make a qualified save. Briones FC's players were relieved. 77 minutes into the match, Briones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Riaza came free, but Guamán Colina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zayveon Caseda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nestor Hoyuelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that John Sombredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Hoyuelos was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Zayveon Caseda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Briones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zayveon Caseda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Hoyuelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Gigantones's goal looked a bit too open when Zayveon Caseda came free, but Nestor Hoyuelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Briones FC's Guamán Colina got control of the ball when Leoverliz Cervantez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, John Sombredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Briones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Sombredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Zayveon Caseda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
