Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Omar Berinduaga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Sombredo in the 3rd minute of play forced Cuchil FC's goalkeeper Xeromo Salamanca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuchil FC's Xeromo Salamanca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Berinduaga in the 7th minute of play. Urdin Entrala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guamán Colina made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Lisandro Lledias sent off a good shot on target. Xeromo Salamanca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Sombredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Briones FC's Klimovich Barquerin got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th match minute, Cuchil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Luey to maneuver through the defense. Xeromo Salamanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Berinduaga in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Urdin Entrala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guamán Colina. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Xeromo Salamanca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Sombredo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes, Omar Berinduaga made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cuchil FC's Xeromo Salamanca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 minutes, Isaac Cegama mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuchil FC and the Briones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.

In the 54th minute, Cuchil FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after John Sombredo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Omar Berinduaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xeromo Salamanca was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Omar Berinduaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Lisandro Lledias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guamán Colina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Omar Berinduaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If John Sombredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Sombredo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Xeromo Salamanca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute Fausto Rado suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Jama Olarria's late challenge caught a Briones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jama Olarria helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Cuchil FC got a freekick which was hit by Jama Olarria. 82 minutes into the match, John Sombredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xeromo Salamanca. Cuchil FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Sombredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Briones FC's Aguinaga Marco got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John Sombredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lisandro Lledias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urdin Entrala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guamán Colina having to interfere. Guamán Colina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Lledias in the 97th minute of play. The Briones FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Briones FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
