When Pio Saracho came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the CD Dacte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pio Saracho couldn't finish the play. Ivan Martel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Parrales Arguiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Parrales Arguiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Martel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Martel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parrales Arguiz having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Pio Saracho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Dacte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pio Saracho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rolando Galan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, CD Dacte's goal looked a bit too open when Bustos Tamajon came free, but Urrutia Angeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bustos Tamajon came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Nagsiche FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bustos Tamajon couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in CD Dacte's zone, Bustos Tamajon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urrutia Angeles came out of the goal and Bustos Tamajon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, Nagsiche FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bustos Tamajon to maneuver through the defense. Pio Saracho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Ivan Martel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Dacte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ivan Martel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Martel to make the kick off. The supporters of Nagsiche FC booed when CD Dacte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vera Manriquez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
