Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emilio Gox started the match with the kick off. Trota Maestro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gilmar Santillan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilmar Santillan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Gox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trota Maestro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Gox recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CD Chihuaran's Nando Farias got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trota Maestro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Santillan having to interfere. CD Palermo's Moreta Chave couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CD Chihuaran. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Ramirez Anguciana came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the CD Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramirez Anguciana couldn't finish the play. Ramirez Anguciana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eduardo Piñera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trota Maestro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Gox in the 86th minute of play forced CD Palermo's goalkeeper Gilmar Santillan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramirez Anguciana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Piñera having to interfere. If Salvador Borines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
