Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Liga de Quito's Ulizes Sedeño started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pascual Surco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulizes Sedeños short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Freddy Villacis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gian-Carlo Septiem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from De-la-Cruz Quintarnaya in the 8th minute of the match. Liga de Quito's Gian-Carlo Septiem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Ariztegui in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Pinilopata FC got a corner. Liga de Quito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfonso Mendigoitia ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 16th minute, Umbruso Chavarri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gian-Carlo Septiem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ulizes Sedeño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Villacis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. If Ulizes Sedeño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolas Barroiz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Braulio Flores came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Liga de Quito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Flores couldn't finish the play. Robin Mascaran hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Martinez Saribiarte kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Alfonso Mendigoitia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gian-Carlo Septiem skillfully saved the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Ariztegui was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Jacinto Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Barroiz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Jacinto Varela was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. Jacinto Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Freddy Villacis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulizes Sedeño in the 74th minute of play. Pascual Surco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Mendigoitia made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Liga de Quito's Pascual Surco. Pinilopata FC's Freddy Villacis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulizes Sedeño in the 84th minute of play. Pascual Surco might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddy Villacis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Surco ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Villacis came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Liga de Quito's Pascual Surco. But to his dismay, Pascual Surco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pinilopata FC's Freddy Villacis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Surco in the 95th minute of play. Liga de Quito were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
