Xavieon Marimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Magdalena, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Cusuimi SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ayoví Zornoza 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Urti Obaldia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayoví Zornoza in the 14th minute of play. Xavieon Marimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Magdalena, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Casado Cerezuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jimmy Aledo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cusuimi SC's protests and gave Jimmy Aledo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cusuimi SC's Jimmy Aledo got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Magdalena in the 32nd minute of play forced Socotroco FC's goalkeeper Xavieon Marimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chucho Via succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Xavieon Marimon came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cusuimi SC's Elkin Zorita. But to his dismay, Elkin Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Urti Obaldia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ayoví Zornoza's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santo Magdalena to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute Santo Magdalena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavieon Marimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urti Obaldia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ayoví Zornoza in the 62nd minute of the match. Ayoví Zornoza might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urti Obaldia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ayoví Zornoza ran back to his position shaking his head. Chucho Via scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urti Obaldia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Chucho Via cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Urti Obaldia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urti Obaldia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayoví Zornoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ayoví Zornoza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Socotroco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ayoví Zornoza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urti Obaldia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cusuimi SC's Urti Obaldia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chucho Via in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Chucho Via notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Cusuimi SC's Urti Obaldia. Urti Obaldia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Socotroco FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
