After some careless play in the Cumbaya SC defense, Duarte Canelas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Badiola. The Cumbaya SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Badiola should have stopped the shot. Vimaro Matute took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Añe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christobal Sesse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vimaro Matute having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Marcos Añe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cumbaya SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Añe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vimaro Matute breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Añe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vimaro Matute having to interfere. Christobal Sesse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vimaro Matute having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Villagra Caamaño to strike the kick off in the second half. Vimaro Matute showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Añe, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Vimaro Matute made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Añe in the 55th minute of play. The Cumbaya SC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Cumbaya SC's Marcos Añe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cumbaya SC's Matias Badiola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villagra Caamaño in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of ac milan booed when Cumbaya SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Zarzosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by ac milan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. George Vuelta was slow to take the kick. During this time Cumbaya SC's players had a chance to rest. Ulises Olaisola helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes ac milan got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Olaisola. 85 minutes into the match, ac milan's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Añe came free, but Vimaro Matute reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Cumbaya SC got a freekick which was hit by Victoro Folgoso. Matias Badiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villagra Caamaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Cumbaya SC's George Vuelta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ac milan.
