Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Washington Llantada took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Pascual Checa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitin Sobero. CD Guallabamba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Checa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Xabier Lozada fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Guallabamba's protests and gave Xabier Lozada a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CD Rosales booed when CD Guallabamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabier Lozada didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes, CD Rosales's Rogelio Quejo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vitin Sobero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Rosales reached it. 15 minutes into the match, CD Guallabamba's Washington Llantada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xavies Castrejana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute Washington Llantada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavies Castrejana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CD Guallabamba's Asencio Serans got a free kick in the 18th minute. Xavies Castrejana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Barreda in the 22nd minute. If Washington Llantada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Washington Llantada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Wilmer Artadi came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the CD Rosales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilmer Artadi couldn't finish the play. Vitin Sobero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilmer Artadi in the 33rd minute of play. Víctor Estebanez struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Xavies Castrejana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Guallabamba. 40 minutes into the match, CD Rosales's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Llantada came free, but Xavies Castrejana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Víctor Estebanez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavies Castrejana was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After the first half CD Rosales were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascual Checa to strike the kick off in the second half. If Pascual Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitin Sobero having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Checa in the 55th minute of play forced CD Guallabamba's goalkeeper Vitin Sobero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Barreda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Xavies Castrejana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Washington Llantada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavies Castrejana having to interfere. Wilmer Artadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilmer Artadi struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Vitin Sobero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Rosales. If Ricardo Barreda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Pascual Checa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vitin Sobero. That made the score 0-2 in the 89 minute of play. Wilmer Artadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitin Sobero having to interfere. Wilmer Artadi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. CD Rosales's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
