Wilmer Artadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbez Piedra having to interfere. The supporters of CD Rosales booed when UD Quimiac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esterilla Jordana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, UD Quimiac's goalkeeper Urbez Piedra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilmer Artadi. After 18 played minutes UD Quimiac got a freekick which was hit by Esterilla Jordana. If Henry Coca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Henry Coca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavies Castrejana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Checa in the 34th minute of play forced UD Quimiac's goalkeeper Urbez Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UD Quimiac's zone, Wilmer Artadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbez Piedra came out of the goal and Wilmer Artadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Checa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. CD Rosales's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 47th minute, Paredes Gamones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Juan Marty sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xavies Castrejana skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Aspe to make the kick off. Urbez Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Checa in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, UD Quimiac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferrer Larabiedra to maneuver through the defense. Urbez Piedra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Checa went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, UD Quimiac's Esterilla Jordana got a free kick in the 65th minute. After recieving a nice pass, CD Rosales's Rogelio Quejo tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Xavies Castrejana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Aspe in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CD Rosales's Wilmer Artadi got a free kick in the 69th minute. Manuel Aspe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavies Castrejana having to interfere. Manuel Aspe struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Xavies Castrejana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Quimiac. In the 80th minute, Juan Marty sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CD Rosales's Xavies Castrejana didn't even have to move. Henry Coca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Xavies Castrejana made a huge save. Xavies Castrejana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Aspe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UD Quimiac's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CD Rosales had won, even though UD Quimiac had held more of the ball.
