Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) CD Rosales's Pascual Checa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Libertad Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Libertad Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Xavies Castrejana. CD Rosales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 18th minute, Alejandro Escalada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes in the game, Wilmer Artadi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Libertad Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Xavies Castrejana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Xizavier Gavilanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Almenara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavies Castrejana having to interfere. TheLgi2 FC's Libertad Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Alejandro Escalada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TheLgi2 FC and the CD Rosales players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to TheLgi2 FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alejandro Escalada hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Checa in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xizavier Gavilanes saved TheLgi2 FC from getting behind. Wilmer Artadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Xizavier Gavilanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, TheLgi2 FC's goalkeeper Xizavier Gavilanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Checa. Walter Villoldo charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Villoldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes TheLgi2 FC got a freekick which was hit by Walter Villoldo. After the first half TheLgi2 FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fabian Almenara made the kick off in the second half. Libertad Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fabian Almenara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Ramos Andonegui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Rosales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TheLgi2 FC the free kick. Ramos Andonegui hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Libertad Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Rosales's goalkeeper Xavies Castrejana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Almenara in the 61st minute of play forced CD Rosales's goalkeeper Xavies Castrejana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Texeira Ondategui's late challenge caught a TheLgi2 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Texeira Ondategui helped the player get up and apologised. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by CD Rosales's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ariel Sirgo was slow to take the kick. During this time TheLgi2 FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led TheLgi2 FC's Marco Bedes to fire away a dangerous shot which Xavies Castrejana despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fabian Almenara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Xavies Castrejana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavies Castrejana made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Libertad Abreu sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in TheLgi2 FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! When Pascual Checa came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the CD Rosales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Checa couldn't finish the play. Pascual Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xizavier Gavilanes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in TheLgi2 FC's zone, Wilmer Artadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xizavier Gavilanes came out of the goal and Wilmer Artadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
