The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Marques Porta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bryan's Héctor Salazar got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Marques Porta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Castillo Fermoso kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, UD Quillalli's goalkeeper Murillo Lamboy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Ontaneda. After a defensive mix-up in Bryan's zone, Marques Porta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Osorio came out of the goal and Marques Porta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valery Miralles in the 25th minute of play. Reynaldo Ontaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marques Porta, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Castillo Fermoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murillo Lamboy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. When Valery Miralles came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the UD Quillalli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valery Miralles couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Guerrero Banzola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valery Miralles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santos Reboredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Walter Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Héctor Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valery Miralles in the 45th minute of play forced Bryan's goalkeeper Walter Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Lamboy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Castillo Fermoso in the 47th minute of the match. Castillo Fermoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Murillo Lamboy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valery Miralles to make the kick off. Valery Miralles struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Walter Osorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Quillalli. 58 minutes into the game, Héctor Salazar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bryan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Quillalli the free kick. Héctor Salazar hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Miguel Murillo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Bryan's goalkeeper Walter Osorio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marques Porta. UD Quillalli's Murillo Lamboy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Ontaneda in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Valery Miralles managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Quillalli's supporters rose to their feet, but Valery Miralles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Osorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Valery Miralles sped through Bryan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walter Osorio. 93 minutes into the match, Castillo Fermoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murillo Lamboy. UD Quillalli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Castillo Fermoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
