Vela Sandoval was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cesar Bolado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gomez Canel. ▒▓►Fc Barcelona◄▓▒'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manuel Zubiaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gomez Canel made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blanco Pelayo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rolando Corneja hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Vela Sandoval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Rodolfo Varon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Guarainag's Zeledon Cotes in 88 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Gomez Canel guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The ▒▓►Fc Barcelona◄▓▒ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ▒▓►Fc Barcelona◄▓▒ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
