Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes, Xinaro Arista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venus and the Los Galacticos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Xinaro Arista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Paz Coracera fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venus's protests and gave Paz Coracera a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Venus got a freekick which was hit by Paz Coracera. Rodriguez Sariego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polo Laguillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gomez Artes came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Venus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gomez Artes couldn't finish the play. If Polo Laguillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Galacticos's Kléber Pantoja got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kléber Pantoja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuberoa Migolla having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venus's zone, Kléber Pantoja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zuberoa Migolla came out of the goal and Kléber Pantoja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Facundo Uceda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute, Paz Coracera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Venus booed when Los Galacticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ysidro Barrufet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Polo Laguillo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rodriguez Sariego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venus. Gomez Artes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Gomez Artes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodriguez Sariego. Los Galacticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gomez Artes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 80 minutes into the match, Venus's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Pantoja came free, but Zuberoa Migolla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodriguez Sariego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Laguillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Polo Laguillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venus's supporters rose to their feet, but Polo Laguillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguez Sariego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodriguez Sariego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polo Laguillo in the 87th minute of play. Facundo Uceda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zuberoa Migolla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Facundo Uceda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venus walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
