Marco Capetillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Plaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Maximo Plaza kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Klimowicz Maroño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Capetillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilson Mariña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th match minute, Jumper 3000 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klimowicz Maroño to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Jumper 3000's goalkeeper Matamba Cegama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilson Mariña. Patria S.C.'s Vilson Mariña was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Vilson Mariña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Matamba Cegama made a huge save. Maximo Plaza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Patria S.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Hernan Jurado hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Vilson Mariña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, one of Jumper 3000:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jumper 3000. The goalkeeper, Matamba Cegama, was totally fooled by Patria S.C.'s Grueso Ortubia, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximo Plaza to strike the kick off in the second half. Matamba Cegama didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilson Mariña went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Marco Capetillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Mugica in the 62nd minute. After 97 minutes, Hernan Jurado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patria S.C. and the Jumper 3000 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Jumper 3000's Zelipe Artolozaga tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
