Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Salvador Barcena took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Fernández Riguera fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LDU's protests and gave Fernández Riguera a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to LDU getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Fernández Riguera hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, German Lloreda made a precise shot to the right of Brito Telleria. LDU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. German Lloreda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Brito Telleria made a huge save. In the 10th minute, German Lloreda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brito Telleria. The goal made the score 2-0. Fernández Riguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Piedra having to interfere. UD Saraguro's German Lloreda got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brito Telleria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zayveon Almazan in the 22nd minute of the match. German Lloreda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Corneja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vito Piedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Barcena, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Zayveon Almazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 44 minutes, Alex Corneja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LDU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Corneja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Corneja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Salvador Barcena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vito Piedra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Corneja took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito Piedra. Vito Piedra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Brito Telleria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zayveon Almazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Corneja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Piedra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Ramos Laredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nicolas Calero fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Saraguro's protests and gave Nicolas Calero a yellow card for diving instead. 78 minutes into the match, LDU's Salvador Barcena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vito Piedra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramos Laredo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Alex Corneja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vito Piedra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of UD Saraguro booed when LDU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bran Vea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Calero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LDU's Salvador Barcena got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. LDU's Brito Telleria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zayveon Almazan in the 97th minute of play. UD Saraguro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
