Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xove Cerdeira started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Vilson Mariña notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of LDU's Brito Telleria. Brito Telleria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 13 in the game by Alex Corneja from a close distance when the talented Marco Capetillo managed to make a qualified save. Patria S.C.'s players were relieved. Alex Corneja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes in the game, Salvador Barcena fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marco Capetillo having to interfere. Vilson Mariña took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brito Telleria. Brito Telleria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 28th match minute, Patria S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Jurado to maneuver through the defense. Alex Corneja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Capetillo having to interfere. After 34 minutes of play, LDU's Salvador Barcena made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Capetillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! LDU's Brito Telleria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilson Mariña in the 39th minute of play. If Alex Corneja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Barcena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The LDU players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Patria S.C. were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Barcena made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Patria S.C.'s Julio Villavedon got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Alex Corneja came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the LDU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Corneja couldn't finish the play. When Corozo Escoto fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patria S.C.'s protests and gave Corozo Escoto a yellow card for diving instead. Corozo Escoto kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Fernández Riguera in the 55th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Marco Capetillo's left hand side. 59 minutes into the game, Gian-Carlo Portilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LDU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patria S.C. the free kick. 59 minutes into the game, one of LDU:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 61st minute, Patria S.C. got a penalty, and Grueso Ortubia placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After some careless play in the LDU defense, Vilson Mariña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brito Telleria. The LDU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brito Telleria should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute of the match Gian-Carlo Portilla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Capetillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Alex Corneja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Salvador Barcena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Xove Cerdeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Vilson Mariña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Xove Cerdeira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brito Telleria. Xove Cerdeira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. After a rather tough play, Patria S.C.'s Hernan Jurado got a free kick in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Patria S.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
