Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabio Cucho started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes CD Higueroncito got a freekick which was hit by Espinola Bardon. Dominguez Valentin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Remonta's Salvador Ambrosio tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Fausto Minayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Higueroncito's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Minayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Cavero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Bruno Hernainz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Higueroncito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fausto Minayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valentin Cavero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Minayo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 27th match minute, Remonta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xerardo Marmol to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Hernainz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Minayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Cavero having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Franco Velicia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Higueroncito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Remonta the free kick. In the 36th match minute, CD Higueroncito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Velicia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Fabio Cucho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Remonta's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Cucho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Arambula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CD Higueroncito's Alfonso Arambula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weather Rosal in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 58th minute, Bruno Hernainz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Arambula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Cucho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Weather Rosal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Remonta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Higueroncito the free kick. Fausto Minayo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Valentin Cavero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Higueroncito. 67 minutes into the match, Bruno Hernainz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Cavero. Remonta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Hernainz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 71stth minute of the game Fabio Cucho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Higueroncito's Alfonso Arambula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Xerardo Marmol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Fausto Minayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Higueroncito's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Minayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Cavero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in CD Higueroncito's zone, Oswaldo Mendiune stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Arambula came out of the goal and Oswaldo Mendiune tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Hernainz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Valentin Cavero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Cavero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Minayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Alfonso Arambula was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabio Cucho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 94 minute of play. CD Higueroncito walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
