Orlando Traus started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute of the match Villegas Flores sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogerio Viñambre skillfully saved the ball. Nacho Asarta kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Juron's Armando Monroy in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Yerbabuena's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Juron's Silvio Bermeo got a free kick in the 13th minute. A hard shot 17 in the game by Luis Portochao from a close distance when the talented Christobal Bobadilla managed to make a qualified save. Juron's players were relieved. CD Yerbabuena:s Rogerio Viñambre showed great skill when he stopped Silvio Bermeo:s penalty. Silvio Bermeo made a great header on Juron's corner, it was just that CD Yerbabuena's Rogerio Viñambre managed to reach the ball for a save. Humberto Ustoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to CD Yerbabuena getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nacho Asarta hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Armando Monroy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogerio Viñambre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darío Villamañan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Orlando Traus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christobal Bobadilla having to interfere. The supporters of CD Yerbabuena booed when Juron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Cabria didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, CD Yerbabuena's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Monroy came free, but Rogerio Viñambre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Ustoa struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Rogerio Viñambre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juron. 40 minutes into the match, CD Yerbabuena's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Monroy came free, but Rogerio Viñambre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Monroy to make the kick off. Christobal Bobadilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Portochao in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Humberto Ustoa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CD Yerbabuena's Rogerio Viñambre. Rogerio Viñambre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute, one of CD Yerbabuena:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Yerbabuena. 64 minutes into the match, Orlando Traus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christobal Bobadilla. Juron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Traus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Orlando Traus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christobal Bobadilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Orlando Traus struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Christobal Bobadilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Yerbabuena. Rogerio Viñambre was a little too slow when Armando Monroy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-3. Ximenez Regaña hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Juron's Christobal Bobadilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Portochao in the 88th minute of play. Armando Monroy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Juron's Humberto Ustoa, in the 93rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Juron. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Juron eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
