Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guanguilqui SC's Segio Argüeso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Xines Pablo put in a rough tackle. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Independiente! In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Independiente's goalkeeper Lopez Vilamajo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cortez Ocio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Arechavala's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Independiente's zone, Benjamin Trarigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lopez Vilamajo came out of the goal and Benjamin Trarigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segio Argüeso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Guanguilqui SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lopez Vilamajo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segio Argüeso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vergaray Rosete hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Lopez Vilamajo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 32nd minute, Faustino Cuerva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Trarigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Faustino Cuerva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Cuerva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If James Casar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Arechavala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cortez Ocio having to interfere. Roque Sicilia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cortez Ocio having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Emanuel Arechavala notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Guanguilqui SC's Cortez Ocio. Cortez Ocio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cortez Ocio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Arechavala in the 58th minute. Cortez Ocio made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Emanuel Arechavala sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Vergaray Rosete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Vergaray Rosete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cortez Ocio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Guanguilqui SC defense, Emanuel Arechavala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cortez Ocio. The Guanguilqui SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cortez Ocio should have stopped the shot. Emanuel Arechavala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Cortez Ocio made a huge save. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guanguilqui SC's goalkeeper Cortez Ocio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute Benjamin Trarigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lopez Vilamajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Arechavala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cortez Ocio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Vergaray Rosete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Vergaray Rosete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cortez Ocio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Arechavala might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cortez Ocio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Arechavala ran back to his position shaking his head. Vergaray Rosete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cortez Ocio having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Arechavala got free with Cortez Ocio in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Cuerva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cortez Ocio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costa Independiente's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
