Flor Letatu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cutzatagua. After 17 minutes of play, Cutzatagua's Erik Rodić made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flor Letatu was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.D. Leones's Santiago Caldero got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vidal Trullols had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Adan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Vidal Trullols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Franciszek Tylenda made a huge save. 44 minutes into the game, Erik Rodić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Flor Letatu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The C.D. Leones players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cutzatagua were winning 0-3.

59 minutes into the match, Roque Adan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flor Letatu. C.D. Leones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roque Adan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Rodić couldn't finish the play. The C.D. Leones fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cutzatagua were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
