Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vidal Trullols ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute Weterio Coviella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flor Letatu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Santiago Caldero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D. Leones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Caldero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Caldero in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Outon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vidal Trullols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Outon having to interfere. If Hector-Luis Lamadrid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Outon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Caldero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Weterio Coviella hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Flor Letatu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector-Luis Lamadrid in the 25th minute of the match. When Weterio Coviella came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Pocita SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Weterio Coviella couldn't finish the play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Weterio Coviella couldn't finish the play. Vidal Trullols's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Outon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Weterio Coviella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Flor Letatu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Caldero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Caldero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Outon having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rodríguez Entia tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Guillermo Outon. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 54th minute. Vidal Trullols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Guillermo Outon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flor Letatu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Weterio Coviella went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of C.D. Leones booed when Pocita SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blanco Magallanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to C.D. Leones getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Dennis Ariztimuño hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Hector-Luis Lamadrid could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-2 into the left cross. 80 minutes into the match, Vidal Trullols notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Pocita SC's Guillermo Outon. Guillermo Outon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vidal Trullols sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidal Trullols in the 94th minute of play forced Pocita SC's goalkeeper Guillermo Outon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blanco Magallanes hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
