In the 8th match minute, Atletico de Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Portera to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Atletico de Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Bar Simpson came free, but Roque Lezarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Angeles Del Infierno's Bar Simpson in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico de Madrid's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Orfilio Marful who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico de Madrid's Roque Lezarreta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Camilo Portera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xuoco Soltero, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 19th minute, Bar Simpson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roque Lezarreta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Zelipe Ascot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Yader Donis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Angeles Del Infierno's Orfilio Marful sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roque Lezarreta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bar Simpson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Atletico de Madrid getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Claudio Font hit a great ball. Bar Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bar Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orfilio Marful received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Roque Lezarreta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bar Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Camilo Portera fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico de Madrid's protests and gave Camilo Portera a yellow card for diving instead. After 49 played minutes, Angeles Del Infierno's Xuoco Soltero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roque Lezarreta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Angeles Del Infierno reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bar Simpson to make the kick off. Orfilio Marful sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Angeles Del Infierno's Antonio Panadero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roque Lezarreta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Zenaido Carillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Lezarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bar Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roque Lezarreta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bar Simpson's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Roque Lezarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bar Simpson in the 69th minute of the match. Zenaido Carillo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Yader Donis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico de Madrid. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Zelipe Ascot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico de Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Zelipe Ascot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yader Donis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico de Madrid fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Roque Lezarreta, was totally fooled by Angeles Del Infierno's Xuoco Soltero, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zelipe Ascot in the 89th minute of play forced Angeles Del Infierno's goalkeeper Yader Donis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yader Donis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenaido Carillo in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Zenaido Carillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yader Donis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roque Lezarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bar Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Orfilio Marful got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angeles Del Infierno's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
