Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Zambrano Lama started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, CD Cuardele's Pepe Izquierdo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lastra Negrete narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pepe Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Lastra Negrete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xever Garro in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lastra Negrete saved Pitishca from getting behind. Lastra Negrete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xever Garro in the 11th minute of play. If Xever Garro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16thth minute of the game Pepe Izquierdo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pitishca's Lastra Negrete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pepe Izquierdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, CD Cuardele's Xever Garro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lastra Negrete narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogerio Vada during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CD Cuardele booed when Pitishca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogerio Vada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lastra Negrete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepe Izquierdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pitishca's Zambrano Lama in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Cuardele's goalie prevented a goal. Ambrossi Ulloa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Gregorio Hordoñez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Xever Garro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 minutes, Polo Irala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Cuardele and the Pitishca players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pitishca booed when CD Cuardele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polo Irala didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pitishca getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Zambrano Lama hit a great ball. If Xever Garro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Rogerio Vada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pepe Izquierdo made a kick off. Xever Garro struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Lastra Negrete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Cuardele. With a little luck, Pitishca's Lastra Negrete got control of the ball when Xever Garro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Pepe Izquierdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrossi Ulloa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CD Cuardele's Pepe Izquierdo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute Ambrossi Ulloa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Hordoñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Caloca's late challenge caught a CD Cuardele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Caloca helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Pitishca got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Caloca. CD Cuardele's Isaac Blasco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pitishca. In the 79th play minute Xever Garro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lastra Negrete. 0-2. Pepe Izquierdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pepe Izquierdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lastra Negrete having to interfere. With his leg Lastra Negrete managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when CD Cuardele's Xever Garro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Xever Garro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Pepe Izquierdo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Cuardele's supporters rose to their feet, but Pepe Izquierdo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lastra Negrete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pepe Izquierdo in the 96th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Lastra Negrete kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. CD Cuardele's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
