Arnoldo Alastuey kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Vernaza Sedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jácome Sotillo having to interfere. If Vernaza Sedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Darío Madinabeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Vernaza Sedillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jácome Sotillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Sorrow FC's goal looked a bit too open when Campos Ziguenza came free, but Quiróz Cenzano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quiróz Cenzano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Escobar Bascal in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Sorrow FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoro Barroso to maneuver through the defense. Quiróz Cenzano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Campos Ziguenza, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Campos Ziguenza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Quiróz Cenzano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Escobar Bascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Escobar Bascal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quiróz Cenzano having to make a save. A collision led to Sorrow FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Arnoldo Alastuey hit a great ball. Campos Ziguenza struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Quiróz Cenzano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alhajuela SC. A collision led to Alhajuela SC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Flavio Valseca hit a great ball. Alhajuela SC's Jácome Sotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vernaza Sedillo in the 69th minute of play. Jácome Sotillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vernaza Sedillo in the 70th minute of play. Flavio Valseca kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sorrow FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Alhajuela SC for much of the match.
