Felix Cobredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Claramonte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, one of Club Atlanta Juniors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlanta Juniors. Felix Cobredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Moriz in the 12th minute of play. Felix Cobredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Claramonte in the 14th minute of the match. Emanuel Claramonte hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Francisco Moriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlanta Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Moriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CD Guabillo's zone, Francisco Moriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Cobredo came out of the goal and Francisco Moriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Moriz in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Cobredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolfo Era took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Cora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, Francisco Moriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlanta Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Moriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Era made an important save on a dangerous shot by España Cavite in the 42nd minute. Veronica Quijana kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Darío Cora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darío Cora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garrido Larrechi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. CD Guabillo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xandro Villasana in the 54th minute. When España Cavite came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the CD Guabillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that España Cavite couldn't finish the play. If Darío Cora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marlon Vivaldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adolfo Era. Club Atlanta Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Darío Cora's late challenge caught a Club Atlanta Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darío Cora helped the player get up and apologised. Darío Cora kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute España Cavite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Era saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darío Cora in the 78th minute of play forced Club Atlanta Juniors's goalkeeper Adolfo Era to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. España Cavite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Adolfo Era tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Moriz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Cobredo having to make a save. If España Cavite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darío Cora in the 93rd minute of play forced Club Atlanta Juniors's goalkeeper Adolfo Era to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
