Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chalá Eguia kicked off to start the match. If Armando Lamota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chalá Eguia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espiga Intriago having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Marcoloma FC's zone, Romulo Cotero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Espiga Intriago came out of the goal and Romulo Cotero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Lamota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chalá Eguia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Romulo Cotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Chalá Eguia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Espiga Intriago, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Romulo Cotero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balao's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Cotero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Espiga Intriago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Marcoloma FC's Nacho Coca in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balao's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute Chalá Eguia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espiga Intriago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Marcoloma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Coca to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Zaldain to make the kick off. Valentin Teijon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Lamota in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Zaldain in the 56th minute of play forced Balao's goalkeeper Valentin Teijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chalá Eguia in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Espiga Intriago saved Marcoloma FC from getting behind. Valentin Teijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Zaldain, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Xines Gallostegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Balao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marcoloma FC:s goal. Valentin Teijon had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Jácome Cugurulls's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Valentin Teijon came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Marcoloma FC's Jácome Cugurulls. But to his dismay, Jácome Cugurulls quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Cotero in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Espiga Intriago saved Marcoloma FC from getting behind. Romulo Cotero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Espiga Intriago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balao's Chalá Eguia got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Romulo Cotero came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Balao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Cotero couldn't finish the play. Chalá Eguia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Espiga Intriago having to interfere. Zornin Marote kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Chalá Eguia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Balao lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
