After 3 minutes of play, Marvel F.C's Ordonez Gayoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garcés Funes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paz Guillemez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ursino Domayca having to make a save. If Christobal Hurtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Calderón Pasqua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuajaron SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marvel F.C the free kick. Calderón Pasqua kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Maximo Codina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garcés Funes skillfully saved the ball. Christobal Hurtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ursino Domayca made a huge save. A collision led to Cuajaron SC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Paz Guillemez hit a great ball. Ursino Domayca stood somewhat misplaced when Blandón Albear came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 28 minute. Christobal Hurtado in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ursino Domayca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Hector Reinosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garcés Funes was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. When Ramirez Hoyo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuajaron SC's protests and gave Ramirez Hoyo a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Cuajaron SC got a freekick which was hit by Ramirez Hoyo. In the 45th match minute, Marvel F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ordonez Gayoso to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Marvel F.C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Reinosa to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Cuajaron SC were awarded a corner. Espinosa Huelga went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Espinosa Huelga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ursino Domayca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Blandón Albear had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Reinosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Garcés Funes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christobal Hurtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Reinosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garcés Funes having to interfere. Ordonez Gayoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garcés Funes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Reinosa in the 85th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ordonez Gayoso got free with Garcés Funes in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hector Reinosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garcés Funes having to make a save. If Christobal Hurtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cuajaron SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marvel F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Marvel F.C.
