Rafael Binas scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garcés Funes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Moisol's Kaviedes Umaña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Garcés Funes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Blandón Albear fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Nicola having to interfere. Xamo Borines hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaviedes Umaña in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garcés Funes saved Cuajaron SC from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Cuajaron SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaviedes Umaña came free, but Garcés Funes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaviedes Umaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaviedes Umaña to make the kick off. Kaviedes Umaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Erick Ocasio fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moisol's protests and gave Erick Ocasio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Moisol getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eugenio Cuenca hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Christobal Hurtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Nicola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Binas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erick Ocasio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Rafael Binas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Moisol players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
