Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Romero Lamota started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Pablo-Enrique Manjaleguas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Francisco Guemez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Umea Yarritu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xove Asturi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UD Suma's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Navarro Ruega scored to the left of an out of position Umea Yarritu, making the score, 1-1. With a little luck, UD Suma's Umea Yarritu got control of the ball when Garcia Beltranilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Navarro Ruega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Guemez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Asegninolaza in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garcia Beltranilla during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute of the match Pablo-Enrique Manjaleguas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Guemez skillfully saved the ball. Navarro Ruega scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umea Yarritu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Umea Yarritu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xove Asturi in the 34th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Cristian Torrent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Suma's Umea Yarritu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pablo-Enrique Manjaleguas kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Navarro Ruega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Navarro Ruega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 played minutes UD Suma got a freekick which was hit by Ur Ojea. UD Suma's Umea Yarritu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Torrent in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in UD Suma's zone, Navarro Ruega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umea Yarritu came out of the goal and Navarro Ruega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xove Asturi to make the kick off. Leonides Herrezuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garcia Beltranilla in the 55th minute of play forced UD Suma's goalkeeper Umea Yarritu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Navarro Ruega came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Navarro Ruega couldn't finish the play. If Navarro Ruega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umea Yarritu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Navarro Ruega in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Umea Yarritu saved UD Suma from getting behind. Ramón Lazaeta charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramón Lazaeta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute of the match Xove Asturi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Umea Yarritu skillfully saved the ball. Xove Asturi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Umea Yarritu. UD Suma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Pablo-Enrique Manjaleguas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by UD Suma's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xove Asturi was slow to take the kick. During this time INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Xove Asturi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but UD Suma's Umea Yarritu did a great save. 86 minutes into the game, Ricart Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Suma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE the free kick. In the 88th minute, Garcia Beltranilla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Umea Yarritu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Cristian Torrent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Umea Yarritu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Torrent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
