The Trozana SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ledesma Hoyuela should have stopped the shot. After 14 played minutes, Suno FC's Eduardo Brunet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ledesma Hoyuela came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suno FC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Urizar in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ledesma Hoyuela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Ramirez Barsi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suno FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 26th minute Hugo Urizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ledesma Hoyuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Trozana SC's Ledesma Hoyuela got control of the ball when Ramirez Barsi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Salbago in the 34th minute of play forced Suno FC's goalkeeper Oso Baro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Trozana SC's Ledesma Hoyuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramirez Barsi in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trozana SC's zone, Hugo Urizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ledesma Hoyuela came out of the goal and Hugo Urizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Camilo Padrones came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Trozana SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Padrones couldn't finish the play. Hugo Urizar struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute.
