The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rodriguez Arango had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute of the match Vimaro Lamas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Hoyon skillfully saved the ball. Vimaro Lamas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Hoyon. Pokemon GOAL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rodriguez Arango's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Hoyon was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Rodriguez Arango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cagua Portera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Hoyon having to make a save. Segio Roches hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Parrales Lomelin's late challenge caught a Pokemon GOAL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Pokemon GOAL's Marcos Hoyon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguez Arango in the 37th minute of play. Cagua Portera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marcos Hoyon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pokemon GOAL defense, Rodriguez Arango kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Hoyon. The Pokemon GOAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Hoyon should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute of the match Edson Tejedor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Hoyon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Vimaro Lamas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Hoyon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodriguez Arango was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Nicolas Real managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Collin Sporting Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Real was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Collin Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Real to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguez Arango got free with Marcos Hoyon in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 60 minutes, Rodriguez Arango managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Collin Sporting Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodriguez Arango was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Real fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Hoyon having to interfere. Arlín Manurga came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Pokemon GOAL's Pedro Mestas. But to his dismay, Pedro Mestas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Klimowitz Pulido charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klimowitz Pulido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Pokemon GOAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klimowitz Pulido to maneuver through the defense. Rodriguez Arango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rodriguez Arango managed to get in a good position for a shot. Collin Sporting Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguez Arango was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Hoyon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Pedraza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Hoyon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Pokemon GOAL's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cagua Portera 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 89th minute of the match Segio Roches shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arlín Manurga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Collin Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cántaro Volante came free, but Arlín Manurga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pokemon GOAL booed when Collin Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Real didn't get a good kick on the ball. Collin Sporting Club's Cagua Portera got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Marcos Hoyon managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Collin Sporting Club's Rodriguez Arango fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Cagua Portera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
