Grueso Zapatero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Xabat Lance hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Adolfo Briseño struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Grueso Zapatero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NEW WORLD. After 23 played minutes UD Baba got a freekick which was hit by Kaviedes Cantabrana. Miguel Arostegui charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Arostegui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Miguel Arostegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Videl Gorbalan, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 30 minutes of play, UD Baba's Calle Ramires made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xabat Resto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calle Ramires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabat Resto having to interfere. Calle Ramires struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Xabat Resto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Baba. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Briseño got free with Grueso Zapatero in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the match, NEW WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Ramires came free, but Xabat Resto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Calle Ramires made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, NEW WORLD's Guagua Armiñan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Grueso Zapatero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Arostegui in the 62nd minute of play forced NEW WORLD's goalkeeper Xabat Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Xabat Resto managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when UD Baba's Calle Ramires fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Calle Ramires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calle Ramires came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Xabat Resto could save by the left post. Adolfo Briseño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calle Ramires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Xabat Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xabat Lance got free with Xabat Resto in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. UD Baba's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because NEW WORLD had won, even though UD Baba had held more of the ball.
