After 7 played minutes Liga S.C got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Ruelas. If Eduardo Campesino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Miazal FC booed when Liga S.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mora Cuerva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ordóñez Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ordóñez Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogerio Mostache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Pio Zumaya kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Rogerio Mostache made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Eduardo Campesino sent off a good shot on target. Armando Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Liga S.C's Rogerio Mostache got control of the ball when Eduardo Campesino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ordóñez Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The tension between the Liga S.C and the Miazal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 91 minutes into the game, one of Liga S.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bernardo Dagora shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The Liga S.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Miazal FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
