Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zosimo Fase took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Fonte in the 5th minute of play forced Avila's goalkeeper Villegas Baranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cántaro Subiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Villegas Baranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Avila got a freekick which was hit by Weather Zahonero. 12 minutes into the game, Xavieon Azpeitia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Ortencia the free kick. In the 12th minute, Xavieon Azpeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villegas Baranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Fonte, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Roldan Calenga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vilson Villaro firmly grabbed it by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Fonte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Lucas Fonte notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Avila's Villegas Baranda. Villegas Baranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, CD Ortencia's goal looked a bit too open when Walme Celaya came free, but Vilson Villaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over CD Ortencia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Avila throughout the match.
