Suscal Cuba hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When Daniel Hortiz fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avila's protests and gave Daniel Hortiz a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 minutes of play Avila's Suscal Cuba was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 12 played minutes Avila got a freekick which was hit by Suscal Cuba. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Edison Arenchen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salinas City F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Edison Arenchen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Villegas Baranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Jaramillo Digon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Villegas Baranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaramillo Digon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Avila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Doñez to maneuver through the defense. Villegas Baranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaramillo Digon, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Roldan Calenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Xayveon Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roldan Calenga to make the kick off. Roldan Calenga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xayveon Rico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Jaramillo Digon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salinas City F.C.'s Jaramillo Digon got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edison Arenchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villegas Baranda having to interfere. Avila's Villegas Baranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edison Arenchen in the 73rd minute of play. Roldan Calenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xayveon Rico having to interfere. Roldan Calenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xayveon Rico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roldan Calenga in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Salinas City F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vachon Ceballos hit a great ball. Avila's Villegas Baranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Avila from getting a goal against them. The Avila supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Salinas City F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Salinas City F.C..
