Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) AC Milan's Vachon Ameda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th match minute, independiente magdalena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Garraz to maneuver through the defense. Caicedo Ageitos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vachon Ameda in the 11th minute of play. Ovidio Zuazna scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garcia Bazquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goalkeeper Garcia Bazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Zuazna. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Zuazna got free with Garcia Bazquez in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caicedo Ageitos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernandez Varez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caicedo Ageitos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vachon Ameda, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Garcia Bazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordero Merino in the 33rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ovidio Zuazna sped through AC Milan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Garcia Bazquez. Ovidio Zuazna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Garcia Bazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, independiente magdalena's Cordero Merino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 44th minute, Cordero Merino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Garcia Bazquez. The goal made the score 4-0. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Carlos-Alberto Labastida hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Zuazna to make the kick off. Garcia Bazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Zuazna in the 54th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Angel Onis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Ovidio Zuazna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. independiente magdalena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Zuazna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garcia Bazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Zuazna in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Ovidio Zuazna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Garcia Bazquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Ovidio Zuazna sped through AC Milan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Garcia Bazquez. Garcia Bazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Zuazna in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of independiente magdalena booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos-Alberto Labastida didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ovidio Zuazna came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the independiente magdalena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Zuazna couldn't finish the play. After 82 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Carlos-Alberto Labastida. Garcia Bazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordero Merino in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Cordero Merino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Garcia Bazquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Ovidio Zuazna made a precise shot to the right of Garcia Bazquez. AC Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. When the referee ended the match the independiente magdalena players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
