Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Riochico's Domingo Mazas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Domingo Mazas succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 13th minute John Guiles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Cerdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riochico's Santos Vizcaino got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Domingo Mazas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Zorita. CD Kuchints's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingo Mazas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Domingo Mazas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Zorita having to interfere. Hugo Cerdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vellito Limiñana in the 28th minute of play. After 34 minutes, Nicolas Antoñano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Kuchints and the Riochico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Nicolas Antoñano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Domingo Mazas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Zorita was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Gonzalo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Mazas in the 38th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vellito Limiñana to make the kick off. Riochico's Santos Vizcaino got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, CD Kuchints's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Vizcaino came free, but Gonzalo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Mazas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonzalo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Vizcaino in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Santos Vizcaino came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Riochico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Vizcaino couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Kuchints's goalkeeper Gonzalo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santos Vizcaino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gonzalo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Mazas in the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the CD Kuchints defense, Santos Vizcaino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Zorita. The CD Kuchints fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Zorita should have stopped the shot. In the 98th minute Santos Vizcaino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CD Kuchints's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
