After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ivan Sarabia managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Pianguapi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Sarabia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urtats Jimilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th match minute, Vongola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Adurza to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Humberto Orgera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urtats Jimilio skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Vongola FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Minda Romuroso hit a great ball. Urtats Jimilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Sarabia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Ivan Sarabia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Urtats Jimilio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute of the match Humberto Orgera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urtats Jimilio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Archibeque in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urtats Jimilio saved Vongola FC from getting behind. Manuel Archibeque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vongola FC's Urtats Jimilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Sarabia in the 24th minute of play. When Díaz Lin came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Vongola FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Díaz Lin couldn't finish the play. If Manuel Archibeque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Sarabia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Zenon Adurza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Ivan Sarabia made a precise shot to the right of Urtats Jimilio. Vongola FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Urtats Jimilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Archibeque, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Urtats Jimilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veto Gallostegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Díaz Lin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Chiriboga Olaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, CD Pianguapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veto Gallostegui to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th play minute Díaz Lin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Chiriboga Olaso. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucio Zumiza made a kick off. Manuel Archibeque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urtats Jimilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Archibeque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Pacio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ivan Sarabia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urtats Jimilio having to make a save. After a rather tough play, CD Pianguapi's Veto Gallostegui got a free kick in the 64th minute. Agustín Pacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Chiriboga Olaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Pianguapi's goalkeeper Chiriboga Olaso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Sarabias short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Urtats Jimilio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Vongola FC's zone, Manuel Archibeque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urtats Jimilio came out of the goal and Manuel Archibeque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CD Pianguapi's Ivan Sarabia got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ivan Sarabia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Ivan Sarabia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veto Gallostegui during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chiriboga Olaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Díaz Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
