Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Archibeque kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Eléctricos FC- Ambato defense, Ivan Sarabia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Poroso Briz. The Eléctricos FC- Ambato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Poroso Briz should have stopped the shot. Alfonso Finez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Chiriboga Olaso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eléctricos FC- Ambato's Alfonso Finez got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12 minutes, Alfonso Finez made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. CD Pianguapi's Chiriboga Olaso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Sarabia hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Alfonso Finez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiriboga Olaso having to interfere. Alfonso Finez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santos Umpanera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiriboga Olaso having to interfere. The supporters of Eléctricos FC- Ambato booed when CD Pianguapi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Hoyuelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes Eléctricos FC- Ambato got a freekick which was hit by Santos Umpanera. In the 28th minute, Eléctricos FC- Ambato's Alfonso Finez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chiriboga Olaso. Chiriboga Olaso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Poroso Briz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Archibeque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Eléctricos FC- Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Sarabia came free, but Poroso Briz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Finez to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Alfonso Finez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eléctricos FC- Ambato's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Finez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Veto Gallostegui charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veto Gallostegui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute of the match Pavel Loma sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chiriboga Olaso skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Archibeque in the 57th minute of play forced Eléctricos FC- Ambato's goalkeeper Poroso Briz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poroso Briz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Archibeque in the 58th minute of the match. If Alfonso Finez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Loma in the 62nd minute of play forced CD Pianguapi's goalkeeper Chiriboga Olaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Finez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfonso Finez took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chiriboga Olaso. Chiriboga Olaso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Alfonso Finez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiriboga Olaso having to interfere. Santos Umpanera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chiriboga Olaso came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Eléctricos FC- Ambato's Alfonso Finez. But to his dismay, Alfonso Finez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Xavierlada Leys took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Poroso Briz. Eléctricos FC- Ambato's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfonso Finez struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Chiriboga Olaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eléctricos FC- Ambato. In the 81st minute, Ivan Sarabia made a precise shot to the right of Poroso Briz. Eléctricos FC- Ambato's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. CD Pianguapi's Veto Gallostegui got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Veto Gallostegui off the ground. After 88 played minutes CD Pianguapi got a freekick which was hit by Veto Gallostegui. 89 minutes into the game, Manuel Archibeque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Pianguapi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eléctricos FC- Ambato the free kick. Manuel Archibeque kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Manuel Archibeque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute of the game Gustavo Felipez made a throw-in which Manuel Archibeque played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Finez in the 96th minute of play forced CD Pianguapi's goalkeeper Chiriboga Olaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Eléctricos FC- Ambato had played much better football throughout.
