After the first half Pachinche were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sixto Sominaya to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Teodoro Velilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Arteaga and the Pachinche players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, UD Arteaga's Teodoro Velilla got a free kick in the 51st minute. López Rubalcava showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Sominaya in the 53rd minute of the match. Alberto Ciscal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sixto Sominaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Alberto Ciscal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. López Rubalcava was a little too slow when Sixto Sominaya got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-2. UD Arteaga's López Rubalcava proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save UD Arteaga from getting a goal against them.
