Neon Genesis Evangelion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Gobantes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Mauricio Cedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Moreda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Erick Palomares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chichirota SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neon Genesis Evangelion the free kick. In the 19th minute, Erick Palomares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Xavier Cena notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Chichirota SC's Mauricio Cedillo. Mauricio Cedillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Cubria made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ismael Gobantes sent off a good shot on target. Geovanni Moreda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erick Palomares hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Mauricio Cedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Moreda, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Chichirota SC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Moreda came free, but Mauricio Cedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Geovanni Moreda made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Chichirota SC's Mauricio Cedillo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th match minute, Neon Genesis Evangelion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Tavera to maneuver through the defense. Neon Genesis Evangelion's Clemente Cubria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Crespo in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Erick Palomares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neon Genesis Evangelion's Clemente Cubria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clemente Cubria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Crespo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Geovanni Moreda scored 3-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Cedillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Chichirota SC's Mauricio Cedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Chichirota SC from getting a goal against them. Moisés Crespo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. A hard shot 63 in the game by Geovanni Moreda from a close distance when the talented Mauricio Cedillo managed to make a qualified save. Chichirota SC's players were relieved. Leonardo Corro struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Mauricio Cedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neon Genesis Evangelion. 69 minutes into the match, Neon Genesis Evangelion's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Gobantes came free, but Clemente Cubria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Chichirota SC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Erick Palomares hit a great ball. Chichirota SC's Mauricio Cedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Chichirota SC from getting a goal against them. After 73 played minutes Neon Genesis Evangelion got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Roca. Moisés Crespo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Cubria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Crespo in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chichirota SC's Yépez Biñayo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Geovanni Moreda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chichirota SC's Vennancio Hermida got a free kick in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovanni Moreda got free with Mauricio Cedillo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geovanni Moreda came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauricio Cedillo could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Chichirota SC's Erick Palomares got a free kick in the 87th minute. Geovanni Moreda made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 95thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Mauricio Cedillo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
