Borbones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Platanales the free kick. If Dennis Mayoral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Mayoral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Garrido Somovilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Platanales players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Borbones FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Veto Riero to make the kick off. A collision led to Borbones FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Omar Bacardi hit a great ball. Ulises Valsera took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Garrido Somovilla. Borbones FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zayvius Froiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veto Riero scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garrido Somovilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Armando Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borbones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
