Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Domingo Castaño took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Quitumbita got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Varo.. After having played for 5 minutes, Rodríguez Sagaseta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuyuja SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodríguez Sagaseta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venceslao Giribet hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match Blandón Ojero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calle Tecla skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodríguez Sagaseta got free with Klimowitz Zotes in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Quitumbita's Jose-Antonio Trevino got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Cuyuja SC's Domingo Castaño in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quitumbita's goalie prevented a goal. Xavier Varo. sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zabal Raedo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Quitumbita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zabal Raedo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Rodríguez Sagaseta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuyuja SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodríguez Sagaseta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klimowitz Zotes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Cuyuja SC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Cabria. Calle Tecla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Varo. in the 33rd minute of the match. Xavier Varo. sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quitumbita's Klimowitz Zotes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Castaño in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Domingo Castaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klimowitz Zotes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Quitumbita's goalkeeper Klimowitz Zotes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodríguez Sagaseta. 48 minutes into the game, Zabal Raedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Calle Tecla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Quitumbita were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Xavier Varo. made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Quitumbita's goal looked a bit too open when Rodríguez Sagaseta came free, but Klimowitz Zotes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venceslao Giribet hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Calle Tecla acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Blandón Ojero. Domingo Castaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klimowitz Zotes having to interfere. With a little luck, Cuyuja SC's Calle Tecla got control of the ball when Zabal Raedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Miguel Perrote fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuyuja SC's protests and gave Miguel Perrote a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Cuyuja SC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Perrote. Calle Tecla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xavier Varo. showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 70 minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Zabal Raedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuyuja SC's Calle Tecla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Quitumbita booed when Cuyuja SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Tu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zabal Raedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavier Varo. fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Tecla having to interfere. Klimowitz Zotes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodríguez Sagaseta in the 97th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Xavier Varo.'s extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calle Tecla was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Quitumbita walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
