After a rather tough play, Pungaloma SC's Garcés Terminel got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Almandoz Abrea came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Cable Grueso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Almandoz Abrea couldn't finish the play. Iván Estebanes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Cable Grueso's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ramirez Pallar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Robledo having to interfere. Ramirez Pallar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mario Robledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cable Grueso's Mario Robledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klimowitz Olea in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cable Grueso's Paolo Prabes got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of Pungaloma SC booed when Cable Grueso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Prabes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Robledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Aguillar, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Pungaloma SC booed when Cable Grueso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iván Estebanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klimowitz Olea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Robledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klimowitz Olea in the 34th minute of play. Ramirez Pallar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almandoz Abrea scored 1-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramírez Arriete, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ramirez Pallar made the kick off in the second half. Klimowitz Olea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Robledo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almandoz Abrea in the 62nd minute of play forced Pungaloma SC's goalkeeper Ramírez Arriete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Ramirez Pallar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pungaloma SC's Klimowitz Olea got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Dannes Barriga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cable Grueso's Mario Robledo got control of the ball when Klimowitz Olea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iván Estebanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cable Grueso's Mario Robledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramirez Pallar in the 78th minute of play. Almandoz Abrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ramírez Arriete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pungaloma SC's zone, Iván Estebanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramírez Arriete came out of the goal and Iván Estebanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramírez Arriete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Prabes in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, Pungaloma SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Aguillar to maneuver through the defense.
